Maureen is a Family Nurse Practitioner who completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1997. Maureen served as an Army Nurse for 20 years, with assignments in intensive care units and as a White House Nurse before completing her family nurse practitioner program. She retired from the United States Army Nurse Corps in 2006 and moved to Colorado Springs with her family in 2007. Maureen worked in urgent care for 10 years in Colorado Springs before joining the UCCS HealthCircle Primary Care team as a primary care provider in 2017. She serves as the clinic provider lead and is an adjunct faculty member for the Graduate Nursing Program at Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences, providing clinical site visits for nurse practitioner students. Maureen also serves as a preceptor for numerous family nurse practitioner students in the UCCS HealthCircle Primary Care Clinic. She and her husband enjoy everything Colorado has to offer and also enjoy traveling to see their 4 young adult children who are all currently serving in the military. Maureen is a passionate primary care provider who looks forward to helping all of her patients achieve their health care goals!
