Nurse Family Partnership

Nurses supporting first-time mothers for FREE in El Paso and Teller counties.

Explore Nurse Family Partnership

Qualified and experienced nurses perform FREE in-home visits to support first-time mothers living in El Paso and Teller counties.

The Nurse Family Partnership program combines support services and clinical instruction to undergraduates from the Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences at University of Colorado Colorado Springs.

Referrals are accepted from first-time pregnant mothers, their providers, or other community resources. First-time mothers are considered for the program if their child is under 30 days old or the first-time mother is still pregnant.

Visits are flexible and fulfill the needs of a busy mother. Visits take place face to face wherever the client prefers to meet such as: at home, work, school, or the UCCS Primary Care Clinic. If face-to-face visits are not possible, virtual meetings or telehealth calls are available.
